A Wonderful Jesus!

Greetings in the name of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ!

What a mighty God we serve!  I am so happy that God is still in the blessing business.  You should be glad also.  If it had not been for the LORD on our side, where would we be?  I want to encourage you all to continue to be patient and let God be God in your life.  As Christians we are always under an attack from the enemy.  However, the Bible tells us that greater is He who is in us, than he that is in the world (John 4:4).  We were created for greatness, to win in every area of life.  However, in order to win, Jesus Christ must be first in your life.  He is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End (Revelation 22:13).  Not only that, He is also the author and the finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).  But there is even more, He is the Way, and the Truth and the Life (John 14:6).  But there is still more.  He is also the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6).  So, as you can see, Jesus is complete, and if you are a Christian, you are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).  Jesus is all that you will ever need.  Even Satan knows that.  That is why he tries to steal, kill, and destroy you.  He does not want you to know how blessed you are.  The key to it is that You must be "in Christ".  Being in Christ means that His crucifixion was your crucifixion, His death was your death, His burial was your burial, His Resurrection was your resurrection.  You have to realize that all that He did, He did it for "YOU" (make it personal).  He did it for you because He loves you.  Can you say the same for Him?  Do you love Him?  Or do you just love what He can provide to you?  We need to get our priorities in order.  Jesus and His Word must be first in your life.  Why?  Because Jesus is still LORD!

                          YOURS, MINES, AND OURS

When God created Adam and Eve, He gave them dominion over all  the Earth (Yours).  He also gave Adam the responsibility of naming every living creature on the Earth.  But when Adam sinned, He gave up his dominion on the earth to Satan.  Satan claimed the earth as his (Mine) and he seeks out all people to take them to hell with him.  However, Jesus Christ came, died, was buried, and was resurrected for us.  He took back what Satan took from Adam.  Jesus gave the dominion of the earth back to us (Ours).  When we allow Satan to interfere in the plans that God has for us, it is like we are being "Adams" all over again.  Let us walk as Christians should walk, in the victory that Jesus has set before us.  We must know who we are and who we serve.  We must let our faith continue to grow in Jesus, and allow Him to be the Head of our lives.  This world has gone through many changes, and there are still more changes to come.  However, what will never change is the price that Jesus paid to bring us back to what God intended to be ours from the beginning.  As children of the Most High God, let us stop acting like renters.  We all should walk as owners (1 Corinthians 15:57).
